Hola, chicos. Este es mi primero blog de mi experiencia de estudiar de extranjero. These blogs will most likely be in english so all of my friends and family back home can read them without a problem. Today is December 3rd and I am going to get my visa in about two weeks, when exams are over.
I am going to be meeting with Prof. Hilliard to approve my classes for the Spanish department. I need to finish doing the "50 questions you should be able to answer about your host country" PDF that Tammi gave to us. I will post that on this blog when I'm done.
I've been making connections on Facebook, especially with two girls from Montana and Argentina. I've been asking lots of questions about housing because that weighs heavily on my mind right now. I know it will be resolved, but I worry a lot so there's that. I finally got the gumption to email my host coordinator in Spanish today. I asked her about housing and introduced myself. I've also been chatting with the girl from Argentina in Spanish as well.
I hope I can not have a breakdown because of finals.
Saludos,
Natalie
