Good morning peeps!
I hope everyone is well. It is the first fully sunny day in a week and a half in Málaga, and everyone is scrambling to do laundry. Because almost no one owns dryers, we all hang out our laundry. So when it rains for 10 days in a row, it’s almost impossible to have clean underwear, or sheets, or towels. So I am probably going to wash three loads of laundry today.

Tomorrow, my friend Lisa and I are going surfing in the province of Cadíz, which is on the opposite side of Spain then where I live. It’s on the Atlantic Ocean and about 2 hours from Málaga. We were supposed to go last week, but because of the rain, it got canceled.
Bailey will be here in 5 days and I could not be more excited. Also, my friends Sophie and Lisa and I are going to England and Wales for an entire week before exams start. First, we are flying into London and sightseeing, including Harry Potter World in London! Then we are taking a bus from London to Cardiff, Wales, where Sophie’s family lives. We will be staying with her family. I am super excited for that.
Second off in the life of Natalie, is that I am adding another minor: Archeology. It’s stupidly easy to have Classical Studies overlap with Art History and Archeology. I’m two classes away from the six-class Archeology minor because of Classical Studies courses. I’m three classes away from the Art History minor, which I will probably complete by spring. I’m adding all these minors because I cannot graduate (with two majors!) early, because I won’t be able to hit the credit hour requirement for graduation. At the moment, I only have 55 credit hours, and the graduation requirement is 110. I cannot be done early because of this, so what the heck? Add two minors for fun.

Thirdly, I was given the position of Legal and Administrative Intern this coming fall at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Richmond, VA. I am super excited for this, as now I can have an internship to boast on my resume, as well as getting it for credit. I’m not entirely sure what I will be doing, but I am excited nonetheless.
So, that’s about it in the day of the life of Natalie in Spain. I have 44 days until my flight home.
Best wishes,
Natalie
